School Recycling Program

Recycling is more important today than it has ever been before. In order to keep our communities safe and clean, we all must pitch in to help recycle and reuse as much as possible. We provide a convenient, single stream recycling program which eliminates the need to sort recyclables. This service is free to all customers with their regular garbage collection.

Acceptable Recycling Materials Only place recyclable materials into your blue container! Please empty and rinse all food and beverage containers.
Aseptic containers Aseptic containers are sterile cardboard containers with a metallic or foil liner. Aseptic containers are used to preserve food. Soy milk carts Juice boxes Glass All colors of beverage and food containers Beverage bottles (juice, soda) Mayonnaise jars Spaghetti sauce jars Aluminum & Bi-Metal Aluminum foil (clean) Rinsed food and beverage cans (aluminum, steel, and tin) Empty aerosol cans Loose lids from jars Plastic Narrow-neck plastic containers marked #1 - #7 and Wide mouth plastics #2 through #5 Black plastic (flower pots, tubs) Buckets Detergent and shampoo containers Milk and orange juice jugs Party cups, utensils, straws Water bottles Yogurt, margarine and butter tubs	Paper Most clean and dry household paper: Cardboard (flattened and broken down) Computer, copy and fax paper Envelopes File folders Food boxes (cereal, crackers, remove liners) Glossy paper Junk mail Magazines, catalogs and phone books Newspaper Paper bags Paper egg cartons Paperback & phone books Shredded paper (to help reduce litter, please place shredded paper in paper bags before placing in cart) Soft-cover and hard-cover books

Unacceptable Recycling Materials Please do not place the following un-recyclable materials into your blue container!
Construction Debris Concrete, rocks, dirt Electronic / Universal Waste Televisions, computers, cell phones, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches Green Waste Grass, leaves, tree and bush cuttings	Household Hazardous Waste Paints, solvents, cooking oil, motor oil, cleaners, corrosives, fuel tanks - propane tanks Un-Recyclable Glass, Metal, Paper and Plastic
